Today Qatargas and Nakilat named two more of the world’s largest Q-Max LNG Carriers at a special ceremony held at Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard on Geoje Island.

The first ship “Umm Slal” was officially named by Mrs Fatima Al-Kuwari, spouse of Mr. Ghanim Al-Kuwari, Qatargas Chief Operating Officer-Administration

Qatargas announced that it will support the “International Conference on Diabetes in Children and Adolescents” with a gold sponsorship.

The conference, being organized by Qatar Diabetes Association is scheduled to be held from 10 – 12 October at the Sheraton Hotel in Doha. The sponsorship was confirmed during a meeting
