Doha Insurance announced the names of the Board of Directors (BOD) for the next three years as follows: 1- Sheikh Nawaf Bin Nasser Bin Khaled Al-Thani. (Chairman); 2- General Dahlan Jamaan Basher Al-Hamad (Vice Chairman); 3- Adel Ali Bin Ali (Managing Director); 4- Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassem Mohamed Bin Jassem Al Thani (Member); 5- Sheikh Jaber Bin Hamad Bin Jassem Bin Jaber Al Thani (Member); 6- Victor Nazeem Redha Agha (Member); 7- Hitmi Bin Ali Al-Hitmi (Member); 8- Sheikh Ali Bin Nasser Bin Abdullah Al Ahmed Al Thani (Member); 9- Hassan Jassem Darwish Fakhroo (Member); 10- Saud Omer Hamad Abdullah Al Mana (Member); 11- Hussam Abdul Salam Mohamed Abu Essa (Member) Bassam Hussain, General Manager of Doha Insurance Company said that the company is expanding to Yemen by establishing a new venture insurance company with a major Yemeni bank. This new company is expected to be launched towards the end of 2009, thus marking the first expansion outside Qatar.
