The sponsorship cheque was officially handed over during a press conference held at the General Postal Corporation on 20th August. The cheque was presented by Mr. Ghanim Al-Kuwari, Qatargas Chief Operating Officer Administration to Mr. Ali Mohammed Al-Ali, Chairman and General Manager of General Postal Corporation.
Mr. Ghanim Al-Kuwari said; “We are very pleased to know that Doha will host the 25th Universal Postal Congress. Hosting such a prestigious event will further promote Qatar in the international arena. Qatargas is honored to be part of this endeavor and such collaboration is part of our corporate citizenship.
The dinner was attended by UN officials, ministers, ambassadors and many other dignitaries from almost 200 countries.
