BSC provides financial contribution to Bahrain Charity Society through its subsidy of the school bag project for the academic year 2008/2009. The donation was handed over at the company’s headquarter in Seef area by the presence of Abdul Aziz Al Othman, Deputy Director-General and Noor N. Al-Nasser, Director of Public Relations to Najad Kheireddine, Chairman of the Membership Committee and Financial Resources Development of Bahrain charity Society. Such initiative comes from Takaful International Co. to support the needy students and in addition, the company takes care of these students at the beginning of the new school year. On his part, Al Othman said: “Takaful International Co. support to Bahrain Charity Society was part of our own social responsibility which is derived from the Takaful principles and urged by our religion and our inherent traditions which is based on the spirit of solidarity and friendship.” In addition, Najad Kheireddine thanked Takaful International Co. for its continued support to the charitable institutions and urged the rest of the companies and institutions located in the Kingdom of Bahrain to provide all the necessary support to the humanitarian and charitable organizations to enable them to play their noble humanitarian role.
