The United Insurance won the title of “best insurance company in Yemen” for the second consecutive year through a referendum by a magazine.
In coordination with the General Authority for Investment and the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry the results of the referendum were announced during an event which was held on this occasion recently in the Movenpick Hotel in Sana’a The event was under the patronage of the Prime Minister Dr. Ali Mohamed Mujawar. The United have been given this title because of its excellent performance and good reputation in Yemen for providing services, a variety of concepts and new insurance market products which enabled the industry to develop during the year 2007. This is an important achievement which coincides with the opening of a new section of Takaful insurance, which will work alongside the traditional insurance currently in place and the new section will provide another option for customers. Tariq Abdul Wase’a Hayel Saeed, General Manager of the company and a member of the board of directors said that he was delighted to get this honor and expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to all customers who supported him to achieve this remarkable result. Definitely, this progress reflects the apparent spread of insurance awareness among the various segments of the Yemeni society and their confidence in the company over 27. The celebration was attended by Salah Al Attar, Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Mohammed Abdu Saeed, head of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Tariq Saeed Abdul Wase’a Hayel and a number of managers and executives from the various industrial and commercial companies. It is noteworthy that the group of companies of Hayel Saeed Anam won five prizes among the top 20 best companies in Yemen this year.
